About Us

Acme Gadget began on the first full day of spring in 1994 as a moonlighting activity while I was employed by the University of Montana. Acme Gadget is basically my wife and myself. I do the tech stuff and she tells me what to do, so we both play to our strengths. I also have a day job as the Network Administrator at the Missoula Public Library.

I have a B.S. in Physics from Montana State University and a M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Montana. Past and present certifications include the Microsoft MCSE and MCTIP, Cisco’s CCNA and CCNP, and the GIAC GSEC, a security certification.

Acme Gadget is currently managing the environment for four western Montana public libraries, an ISP, and other small offices in the Missoula area.
